Interesting facts about the Blushing Phantom:
Butterflies all around the world use their wings as a self defense mechanism. Some use natural mimicry to camouflage into their surroundings or some may have flashy colors to warn predators. For clearwing butterflies, such as the Cithaerias merolina, they use their transparent wings to disappear into the foliage of their habitats. These special wings are not lacking scales as some may assume, instead the scales are more dispersed and thinner than usual. These scales are to help the butterfly’s wings stay dry during thunderstorms. Whether you are hunting on the ground looking up or flying above, you will have a hard time trying to track this Blushing Phantom.
